Amazon Revenue Up 31% YoY For Q2 2016, Climbs To $30.4B For The Quarter

Amazon has announced their Q2 2016 earnings, and is reporting $30.4 billion for the quarter, which is a nice 31 percent jump over the Q2 2015 revenue.

One of the highlights for Amazon was this years Amazon Prime Day, which was the company’s biggest day ever, with Prime Day worldwide orders up over 60 percent over last year’s Prime Day.

Another of Amazon’s highlights was the launch of Amazon Prime in India, more than 1,900 third-party skills for Alea,  50 new Dash Buttons and AmazonFresh, the e-commerce giant’s grocery delivery service, now available in London.

Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos said, “It’s been a busy for months for Amazon around the world.”

Amazon.in, according to Amazon, was the most visited e-commerce site and most downloaded mobile shopping app in India during Q2.
