Google Assistant is now available to Android phones, and not just on Google’s own Pixel device. This is quite a change when compared to how Google usually offers search on mobile devices. This is also the newest in a wide variety of different ways people are able to search with Google on any Android device.
But what is Google Assistant? It is Google’s next generation way of searching with Google. Instead of providing links to different websites, Google Assistant was created to have conversations with you so you could complete tasks.
In a post on Search Engine Land, which was written by Danny Sullivan, we’ll see how Google Assistant fits in with Google’s other search options on Android. The post also provides a refresher for tapping into Google on iPhone.
