In an announcement by Google, video previews have been added to the video carousel that shows up in the search results. Right now, this only occurs when you are using the Google ap for Android or using Chrome on Android.
By toggling through videos in the carousel, it’ll show you a six-second preview of the video.
According t Google, this is only going to happen when the user is on a WiFi connection. Even though this is the default setting, users will be able to enable video previews on mobile networks or opt-out of this feature entirely by changing up things in the Google app setting menu, or by adjusting settings for Android Chrome.
