Google Bringing Featured Snippets & Rich Results Filters To Search Analytics Report

Google-accelerated-mobile-pagesDuring the Google I/O presentation on May 19th, Google’s Richard Gingras showed a slide that revealed the company has filters for featured snippets and rich results in the Google Search Console’s Search Analytics report.

Recently, Google had added an AMP filter to that report, and also said that they’re now tracking Knowledge Graph, local and Rich Snippets in the Search Console.  It was also hinted by Google that there will be more filters coming to this report.

Check out the following screen shot from Richard Gingras’s slid that shows the two new filters:

This is exciting news for a number of analytics users, as these filtering tools are a great addition to the toolset.
