Google-adwords-redwhite-1920There is a new feature that has been quietly added by Google Search Console to the Search Analytics report that will filter data based on “rich results.”

What are rich results?  Rich results is what shows up in the search results as rich cards or other forms of rich snippets.  With this report, you’ll get a better sense of how many impressions and clicks you’ll be getting for rich results, as well as how the click through rate could different when compared to normal search results.

Here’s what the rich results filter within the search appearance option looks like:

During Google I/O, we were shown proof that this sort of filter was on its way to the public, and we can now say its arrived.  Google hasn’t announced yet that the rich results filter is available in this report, but you should be able to see it.
