Google is expanding their experimental feature called (unofficially) Google Posts to cricket player posts. According to the Google India blog announcement, these cricket post cards are now available when doing a search for cricket player names, personalities and commentators directly in the search results.
As an example, I did a search for [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][Sachin Tendulkar], a former Indian cricketer and captain, and in the search results, I saw his his card come up in the search results.
Here’s a screen shot:
If you click on one of the posts, you’ll be taken to a specific landing page at posts.google.com, such as this one.
