Google, in an effort to keep more eyes on itself, is pointing there efforts toward web designers by placing an RGB-Hex color converter at the top of search results for “RGB to Hex” queries.
For those who don’t know, RGB-Hex color converters are often used for web design and graphic design work to determine exact color values. Android Police site spotted the color converter this weekend, and shows up for both desktop and mobile searches.
Right now, it seems that the tool only appears for the exact “RGB to Hex” query. If users do any variation of this query, such as “RGP-Hex color conversion,” or even “Hex to RGB,” won’t work.
