It’s been confirmed that Google has begun rolling out a new design and look for their desktop search results page. The new design has a look more akin to a mobile user interface.
The rollout might have begun yesterday, but Barry Schwartz had spotted some tests of this new design a few weeks ago.

How long will this new design take to roll out to all searchers? We’ll have to wait and see!
