Google’s AMP initiative, which launched in the fall of 2015, has raised raised the performance standard for mobile content by accomplishing what it promised initially – accelerated mobile pages.
But right now, publisher content in AMP format can, for the most part, be called from only a few places, like Bing, Google, Twitter, and Pinterest. AMP is summoned from these sources from Google’s cache, via a sufficiently speedy connection.
