A few weeks ago, an important change occurred within Google My Business (GMB), where GMB profiles are now able to indicate when business hours were last updated. This update was originally thought to be just a test, but now it’s clear that it isn’t, and it’s here to stay.
This update might be small, but it’s important since more businesses are making the attempt open back up, and people tend to shop locally. Customers want to be sure about the store hours are current, because nobody wants to rely on hours that are horribly out of date, and they won’t even know until they get to the store, just to find it closed earlier than what they thought it would be.
