That’s what we learned in that old movie, Field of Dreams.  But in the real world, that isn’t always the case, is it?  If you’ve gone through the time and effort to build a website, no matter how great it is, we could wish and hope all day long that somebody will visit it, but you know that isn’t going to happen.  After all, you can’t visit a site that you don’t even know exists, right?

This is where outreach comes in.  It’s an incredible important part of link building, but it’s also the most difficult as well.  Getting down to a good personal outreach is difficult, if not impossible, to do, and it’s easy to get yourself into a rut.
