Online_trafficAdmit it.  We all love web traffic going to our websites.  I guess that should go without even saying, right?  Of course web traffic is nice.  It’s the whole reason we even have websites.  If it wasn’t for web traffic, we wouldn’t even bother trying to created, maintain, and market out sites, would we?

So based on that, we know getting web traffic is pretty important.  But let’s get a little more specific though.  In this blog, we’re going to be talking about engaged traffic.  The main topic will be about engaged traffic through Google+.  We have quite a number of options when it comes to social media channels to take advantage of, such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+, and much more.

One of the nice things about Google+ when compared to the other social channels is that Google gives us the chance to interact with visitors through a number of touch points beyond just simply communicating through the main Google+ site itself.  As an example, you have YouTube as well as being able to interact directly in search results.  The possible amount of traffic you can get can be multiplied due to the fact you have so many more options of interactivity.

What’s the secret ingredient for this magic to work?  All you need is a dash of visitor engagement.

In a Moz Blog post written by Cyrus Shepard, he discusses how to supercharge our Google+ engagement, and ultimately create a better brand awareness among new visitors, as well as keeping the idea of your brand fresh in the mind of old visitors as well.  Oh yes, and increase web traffic as well!  We don’t want to forget about that, do we?

So how do you get more engagement through Google +?  Just check out Cyrus’  Moz post to find out.  Follow the link below and read up on Google+ engagement and increase your web traffic now!
