It seems that the clock is ticking. It’s getting closer and closer to the time when we are going to have to transition to Upgraded URLs in AdWords if we’re planning on using any sort of tracking in our destination URLs. The deadline, which was announced by Google, to get set up is July 1st.
But if you’re utilizing auto-tagging only, then you are in the clear. Auto-tagging accounts will get updated automatically, and the destination URLs are going to be moved over to the new final URL fields by themselves.
So aside from auto-tagging, if you’re using some sort of URL tracking from a third party or ValueTrack parameters, you will need to make sure you ready your site’s URLS before July 1st. This means manually moving your destination URLs to the new Upgraded URL fields.
