Can you believe it? It’s almost been a whole year since the Accelerated Mobile project began, and went from 0 to 700,000 domains creating AMP content, with 600 million AMPs indexed by Google in October 2016.
AMP hadn’t launched launched in Google search ten months ago, but today, we’re finding AMP results all over the place in Google search. Publishers are reporting up to 15 percent of total mobile traffic going to AMP. For being a web technology, the speed and scale of AMP’s growth is unprecedented.
