The Apple App Store announced that they are expanding support for Search Ads into Canada, Mexico and Switzerland.
A little over a year ago, it was announced that the Apple App Store was expanding support for released Search Ads, with previous support limited to the US, the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
Apple’s Search A product is the iOS version of what Google Play has offered in its store for Android devices since 2015. Both products are aimed at driving app discovery by users.
App metadata will automatically generate Search Ads, with advertisers setting a daily or total campaign budget. Ads appear depending on the keyword searches specified by advertisers, along with demographic segments, like age, gender and location. It’s possible to separate bids by device as well – one for iPhone users and the other for iPad users.
