Assessing Hummingbird’s Impact On Search — 10 Months Later

Has it really been ten months since the release of Google’s Hummingbird algorithm upon the search world?  It doesn’t feel that long ago that I was writing blog posts about how this new animal-named algorithm popped its head out of the bosom that is Google.  I bet that statement really conjures up a strange image in your mind.

Hummingbird was announced on September 26, 2013, and it’s interesting to think about the impact this particular algorithm had on search.  Eric Enge has his own thoughts on Hummingbird’s impact on us, and he has written a post about it on Search Engine Land.
