After Ann Smarty wrote the article, she decided that it was a good idea to expand upon her tips beyond the realm of just YouTube. Even the comments she received validated this thought.
It isn’t very surprising that there is an ever increasing interest in video marketing and diversifying your efforts. In HubSpot’s research, it was found that 45% of web users watched an hour or more of video per day. This is quite a bit of time people sit down and watch video! It’s been projected that by 2020, 82% of all consumer web traffic will be video.
If you’re entering the video marketing arena, it’s not a good idea to limit yourself to just YouTube. After all, didn’t we learn from a young age not to put all our eggs in one basket? Limiting yourself to any one marketing channel isn’t really a good way to go.
