Last week, Bing partnered up with the US National Park Service for the organization’s centennial celebrations. The National Park is hosting a #FindYourPark photo contest, which is meant to promote the US’s 59 national parks.
Whoever’s photo wins the grand prize will have the photo feature on Bing’s home page during National Park Week, and will even serve as the cover photo on Bing’s Facebook and Twitter pages for all of April in honor of Earth Month.
Any photos taken between now and March 30 at any of the US’s 59 national parks can be submitted via Bing’s Facebook page. The voting will start on March 23.
Given 305 million people visited a national park in 2015 and every single one of them took a photo, there’s bound to be some tough competition, so shoot wisely.
Not only will the winning photo be featured on Bing, but the grand prize winner will be awarded with two round-trip travel tickets from Alaska Airlines, three night’s accommodations from the National Park Hospitality Association and $500 worth of Fison outdoor gear.
There are two runner-up categories for the contest as well: “Find Your Heritage” (for photos of National Heritage Areas and landmarks) and “Find Your Park.” Winners for each of these categories will receive $500 in Filson outdoor gear and $250 in B&H Photo camera equipment.
