There are some new updates to Bing’s search app for iOS and Android, which adds new music and video features, along with more map option.
In the brand new version 6.7.2 Bing search app, you’ll be able to play a video without sound directly in search results with lyrics listed below the video, which has been a feature that’s been available on Bing desktop for a while now. Something else that the app includes is a new Music page that lists trending songs and artists.
There is a report on the the Android Community website that says that Bing’s search app can even give the title to a song being played: “In case you’re looking for a specific song, you can use the Bing Search app by typing the name of the song or if something is playing, it will tell you what it is.”
Not only are there updates dealing with music, users will be able to ad movie titles to their Netflix and Amazon Prime watchlists from the apps’s Movies page.
There’s even an option for users that allows them to pick their preferred map app for directions.
Some of the other updates include a refreshed “reading mode” to make news pages “more enjoyable,” and the ability to sign in with your Microsoft account to see search history on other logged-in devices.
