Walmart has made another step in building out the company’s e-commerce advertising offering Friday with the launch of Walmart Advertising Partners. Four initial ads API parters were named:

This is a big next step for Walmart Media Group, who is trying to attract large manufacturer budgets. A company that is already using one of those vendors to run Amazon Sponsored Product campaigns or Google Shopping as an example will have the ability to switch on Walmart Sponsored Search campaigns with relative ease.
Walmart Media Group is offering advertising opportunities that reach people as they’re shopping, enabling brands to target using its valuable online and offline shopper data. The selected partners’ specialties cut across search and marketplace advertising.
