Back in July, booking buttons were added by Google to some local panel results. Now, these buttons are being opening that up to more local businesses by integrating with their “scheduling partners” directly from the Google My Business console.
After logging into your Google My Business account, you might see a new button in the console named “sign up for bookings” next to the “accept bookings on Google” section.
Once you’ve clicked the button, a page will appear, allowing you to choose your booking provider. Google gives you the option of a dozen or so providers. You need to choose the ones your business works with:
It should be working in a few days. When it does begin working, you can check how well you’re doing with your booking integration specifically with Google. Google My Business will show you your bookings, how much money you made o those bookings, how much over time and each individual booking as well. The following image is a report:
Not every local listing will qualify for this new feature I’d assume that if you check in by the end of the week, you’ll be able to find out if it works for you or not. Google rools this out to US businesses throughout this week.
