It was back in May of 2015, Google had started integrating Shopping Campaign ads into YouTube, first for brands and retailers (which allowed them to display their own ads alongside their videos with TrueView for Shopping), and then opening up to all advertisers as part of the Search Partners network with Shopping ds on YouTube almost a year ago. It would now appear that Google’s testing a traditional carousel format for Shopping Ads on YouTube.
On desktop, a scroll-able carousel displays four ads below a video at any one time, instead of showing some ads along the right-hand side of a video. This format was seen by the s360 team in Denmark on Monday.
