Chrome 88 has been released, and the newest features of Google’s browser includes new Web Vitals metrics to any pre-existing user experience ranking signals.
What are Web Vitals?
First, Web Vitals will measure different things, and then will take that information and put them into three different summary scores as Core Web Vitals:
- Largest Contentful Paint
- First Input Delay
- Cumulative Layout Shift
These three groups will then have to be optimized so that they will reach performance thresholds.
