Common WordPress Duplicate Content Issues & How to Fix Them

When it comes to websites, blogs, news sites, small businesses and the like, quite a few of them uses WordPress to run them. According to W3TechsWordPress powers 40% of all the websites on the Internet, including those without a content management system (CMS) or with a custom-coded CMS.

That’s a lot of internet content being posted using the same platform!

After all, it can make life really easy for anybody using it. In a number of cases, we’ll see that a number of best practices are applied to these WordPress sites, all thanks to plugins and the like.

But despite how easy it is to run a WordPress site, there is an issue that we must consider – duplicate content. Because of duplicate content, a number of WordPress sites won’t rank, and that’s not a good thing if ranking on search engines is something you’re trying to achieve.
