Metrics are a very important aspect of SEO. In fact, metrics is what allows SEOs to do what they do, because without metrics, you can’t really do your job as an SEO or marketer, can you? But the issue is that metrics are great….for us as SEOs. It’s just confusing jibberish that doesn’t mean anything to the clients that we’re working for.
So as the SEO, it is our duty to make sure we get all this information over to the client in a nice, clean way that delivers what they need to know. But how do we make the leap from the progress towards your organization goals to reportable metrics?
