Eli Schwartz On Google Panda Gutting A Site’s Traffic

Thrive Business Marketing company logo

Eli Schwartz spoke with Barry Schwartz (no relation….the last names are a coincidence) last December at Barry’s office, and managed to get most of the conversation on camera.

Eli talked about the day he worked at a company in 2011 and Google Panda had come out. Overnight, the company saw 70 to 90% of traffic just disappear. But rather than complain about it, they made changes that lead to a 125% traffic increase.

Later, Eli moved into an enterprise SEO space where he spent time at Survey Monkey, before and after that company IPOed. Now, he consults for large companies and start-ups with VC funding on their SEO strategies.
