Why Every Business Should Spend at Least $1 per Day on Facebook Ads

Facebook-iconWhen an online marketer is putting out some ads through advertising channels, they would typically use AdWords, or similar channels.  It seems to me, marketers will use services similar to AdWords to get out their ads through the Google Network.  But typically, that’s where some people would stop.  These people don’t know that, in addition to AdWords, Facebook may be the biggest marketing opportunity ever.

Not only can you bring about a great social media presence with Facebook, but placing ads in Facebook can be a fantastic way to get a larger audience than just using AdWords alone.  Not only can you reach about the same number of people as radio or TV with the social media giant, but they are also the cheapest (cost per 1,000 impressions) way to advertise online.  The minimum spending that is required daily on Facebook is a dollar a day.  Plus, if you’re concerned that you wouldn’t have the same flexibility as AdWords, don’t worry.  The ad targeting used in Facebook is pretty comparable to AdWords.

In short, using Facebook ads are something to to be overlooked.  You don’t have to worry nearly as much about price and commitment.  Using Facebook ads in conjunction with other other marketing channels, like AdWords, can really spread the word about what it is you’re selling.

In a Moz Blog post, Brian Carter wrote about all the benefits to Facebook’s ad service.  To learn more about it, you will be able to check out his post by following the link below.
