Facebook Advertisers Can Now Use Stories Ads To Start Conversations In Messenger

Brands are now able to drive Facebook, Instagram and Messenger Stories ad traffic to start conversations on Messenger.

If you swipe up on a Stories ad that has the new “Send Message” call to action, a conversation will begin with the business in Messenger without having to leaver the app.

With this integration will add another engagement mechanism for Facebook advertisers. This could be quite appealing for businesses with long conversion cycles. There are 40 million businesses that are active on Messenger, which, according to Facebook, has a user base of over 1.3 billion.

This feature is now available to businesses with Messenger templates set up in their Facebook Ads accounts.
