Back in January, it was said by Mark Zuckerberg that Facebook will eventually be bringing Graph Search to mobile devices “pretty soon.” At this point Facebook hasn’t released any information as to what “pretty soon” means, and there is no schedule or timetable that we can look at. But now, something has been spotted, sort of like Bigfoot or the chupacabra. We have been seeing tests being leaked to the public on occasion. In June, there was a test for mobile web users that was spotted.
Then, this week, a test surfaced that gave some mobile app users the ability to search by keyword. According to Bloomberg, this latest test gives people the chance to search through content posted by friends and pages that they are following. Those at Search Engine Land asked Facebook about the details surrounding the test, and this is what Facebook said:
“We’re testing an improvement to search on mobile. In this test you can use keywords to search for posts you’re in the audience for on Facebook.”
