Thrive Business Marketing company logo

MobileGoogle has set a standard for mobile best practices.  But, what to Fortune 100 brands does the best job at living up to the best practices set up by Google?  It seems that the answer lies in quite a few well known companies.  These companies include:

  • Coke
  • FexEx
  • TIAA-CREF
  • Walgreens
  • Liberty Mutal

The names that were included on the list compiled by The Search Agency weren’t all that shocking.  But, ironically, some of them were shocking.  Two other companies that made it onto The Search Agency’s list was Amazon and Google itself.

What we have to keep in mind is that the list was only comprised of actual mobile sites, not apps.  The list was comprised by comparing companies to Google’s mobile best practices and then scores them:

Using The Search Agency’s Mobile Experience Scorecard, we calculated a total score out of five for each of the Fortune 100’s sites based on five factors: load speed, site format, calculated download speed, social media presence, and app presence. Our analysis was based on both quantitative factors established by industry best practices and Google, and qualitative factors determined by our team of mobile experts.
