Recently, Google updated their iOS keyboard extension, Gboard.  In this update, 15 new languages, voice typing, new emojis and Google doodles have been added.

The new languages include Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Catalan, Hungarian, Malay, Russian, Latin American Spanish and Turkish. To add these languages to Gboard, go to “Languages” > “Add Language.”

With the voice typing, users just need to press the microphone button and start talking.  Gboard will listen and type out what it hears you saying.  This feature is one of the biggest missing parts that consumers wanted on Gboard.

The latest emojis are nos supported on Gboard from iOS 10.

Lastly, another feature Google added to to their keyboard is their doodles.  After you type the G on the Gboard, you’ll be presented with the day’s doodle.

For those who are interested in Gboard for iOS, you can download it for free in the App store
