So how does a user go about accessing this new feature?  TheAndroidSoul.com says that you can get Gmail showing up in search results by using the following terms:

  • my inbox
  • gmail inbox
  • Show inbox
  • inbox from gmail
  • inbox by gmail

There are all types of features and Gmail content that the Inbox delivers, which includes Promotions, Social and Updates within the search results.  These features can be found in both mobile and Google Now, but only works with user accounts that are frequently being used.

This doesn’t seem to be available for everyone yet, I tested this on three of my Gmail accounts and the thing worked on two accounts that I frequently use, but didn’t work on the account that I use less.
