Google Adds A Fidget Spinner To Its Basket Of Easter Eggs

Not to add even more to the crazy amount of Easter eggs that Google already has on their search engine, the company has now added an interactive fidget spinner to the list.

The news was reported on Search Engine Journal, saying that Google mobile and desktop searches for “spinner” will result in a digital spinner atop search results.  If you searched for “fidget spinner,” it won’ work.  The reason is that the term is dominated by Google Shopping campaigns.

The interactive screen has a toggle in the top right corner to switch between the latest toy phenomena and a number spinner, which was spotted by a reader back in January.

Once you’ve started the spinner started, Google’s spinner won’t stop once you’ve clicked the “spin” button.  If you click more, the pace and direction of spin will change.
