Thrive Business Marketing company logo

Google-thumbIt looks like Keyword Planner is getting a new feature!  Now, advertisers are able to get forecasts for their existing keywords, in addition to campaigns.  If you haven’t done so already, you can check it out in the Keyword Planner.  It’s worth looking at.

When you click the “Select from account” button that you see from the image above, you’ll get an option to select Campaign or Keyword from a drop-down menu.  After making your selection, you’ll be offered performance forecasting and various looks at search volume trends.

If you go to the performance forecast screen, you’ll see how changes in bids might affect performance for the campaigns or keywords selected.  The quality indicator is based on the data that’s already available in the account.Keyword-planner-own-account-performance-forecasts

This search volume trends screen displays the overall average monthly amount of searches.  Not only that, it shows search volume trends broken out by device and location.  If competitive domain data is available, Google will show that trend data at the bottom of this view.

Its possible to see the forecasted impact of adding new keywords as well.  Once you’ve added keywords by click on the New keywords option in the left menu, you can choose All keywords, which can also find in the left menu, to see the daily forecasts for the existing and new keywords combined.
