Even though Google Ads Editor’s latest version does offer some handy updates, the editing pane is still placed awkwardly, taking up a big chunk of the right side of the screen.
Regarding the edit pane, you now can condense some fields in order to hie them, resulting in a little less scrolling. Of course, you’re still going to have to scroll past quite a few grayed-out “Shopping settings” when you’re a Search campaign, as an example. There’s going to be some irrelevant sections you’ll bee looking at as you move through.
If you built broadly applicable negative keyword lists, it is now possible to share them across accounts in the Shared Library in Editor. You can find Shared Library under “Account-level” in the left navigation pane.
Also, you can search for similar errors across your campaigns or accounts. If you type “rule” or “violation” in the search bar, you’ll get a list of options. If you find an error or warning, you can click on the “Show violations” link at the bottom of the screen to see them all.
If you are running App campaigns for engagement or have access to Discovery campaigns in beta, you can now create and edit them in Editor.
