Google AdWords Testing Nearby Store Reminders For Google Now Users

Google adwords redwhite 1920 If you’re a Google Now user, you’ll find that you will be able to set reminders to visit a store the next time they’re in the vicinity, right from some AdWords ads.

The new “Remind me when I’m nearby” automated extension test was spotted by Jennifer Slegg at The SEM Post in the ads of several large retailers, such as Macy’s on desktop search results:

If you click on a location-based store reminder, a Google Now card will be brought up like the one seen below, which was taken from a Google help page that was found by Slegg.  On the card, you’ll see a reminder that is set to trigger when you are near one of the retailer’s stores.

There are some additional screen shots that has been added by Slegg of retailer ads that appear with the “Remind me when I’m near by” extension and syas that she has seen the ads on just the desktop at this point.  Also keep in mind that the “Remind me when I’m near by” isn’t an official name for the extension.
