On November 26, there was a bit a for surprise for either you or your kids if you searched Google for the term [Christmas].
Here is a tweet from Barry Schwartz that shows some NSFW Shopping ads that were displayed for the query:
Since then, Google has demonetized the page, which ended up removing all ads from showing for the exact query match [Christmas]. The only thing that appears this year when doing this search is the date that Christmas occurs this year and the knowledge panel with additional information that appears at the top of the page on mobile and at the top and right of the page on desktop.
