There are two new rich media, interactive display ad formats that are being
testing by Google Display & Video 360.

Swirl

The swirl display ad format uses 3D assets, utilizing the 3D/Swirl component in Google Web Designer. With a new editor coming to Poly (Google’s 3D platform), marketers will be ble to edit and build 3D assets for these ads.

Users will be able to rotate 3D objects, as wel las zoom in and out from within the ad.

Extending YouTube Live Streams

A live stream format gives brands the ability to extend the reach of branded live stream content from YouTube to native display ads using a new template in Google Web Designer. Users should feel at home with this, as the ad units feature the standard YouTube controls for watching, pausing and sharing. Tad test is available across screens and devices.

YouTube live stream content can extend to display ad inventory via Google Display & Video 360.
