In Google’s search results, extended featured snippets are now being shown. These new snippets are adding more information to the top of the featured snipped box for some queries. Featured snippets are usually seen in the search results when Google is confident that they can answer your query by extracting content form a specific web page.
Google is taking a step further by showing extended versions of them with “related topics” that hyperlink to additional queries in Google.

There’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing more of Google adding more content and information in their featured snippet boxes.
