Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s search spam, mad an announcement via a video that Google fights search spam at not only the national level, but an international one. Although this is the case, Google’s spam fighting is stronger in the Google.com, with English search results.
Matt Cutts explained that with a majority of Google’s spam fighting algorithms, like Panda and Penguin, they have put effort into getting them internationalized. By doing this, this allows the algorithms to work not just for English results, but for any search results.
Indeed, Google is known for sometimes launching algorithms just for English, but when it’s possible, they try launching their newest algorithms globally.
Matt Cutts made it clear that they possess Googlers from all around the world who are working hard in search quality, and are fighting spam on a manual level in 40 different languages.
