For a while now, Google has tried to make it easier for users to do follow-up searches or search for related content as they browse (examples here and here). Google has updated the Google Search iOS app to make suggestions for related content at the bottom of the page.
Below, the animation shows how it works. A carousel at the bottom of the page can be expanded and browsed. Tapping on any of the tiles will launch new sites/pages.
Currently, the feature is only in the US, but it will become available in other languages and markets in the near future. Users will have to make sure they have the latest version in order to use this feature.
