Google-maps-logoWith a new update to Google Maps for Android, you can now create route directions with multiple stops, as well as add photos and notes via the Your Timeline feature.

According to Google Map’s announcement, Android users are able to enter a destination, then simply tap the corner menu to access the “Add a stop” feature.

To rearrange the order of your stops, tap and hold the three dot menu to the left of “Add stop” and drag it to the position you want – you can even search for types of places like gas stations or restaurants like you normally would.

The new feature can work in navigation mode, which creates “the seamless driving experience you’re used to.”

The second feature allows users who have turned on their Location History to open “Your Timeline” from the Google Maps menu and select a date to add pictures and notes.  This lets them create a log of where they were and what they did.  The feature has rolled out today.

These features, which are all available to the Android version of Google Maps, will be, according to Google, “coming soon” to iOS devices.
