One of the greatest ways to get your local rankings is to claim and optimize your Google My Business (GMB) listing.

Your Google My Business listing can not only increase your chance of showing up in the Google Local 3-pack, but when a Google user searches your business by name, Google will often show a Knowledge Panel that shows off detailed information about your company.

The details that is shown in these Knowledge Panels are pulled directly from our GMB listing, as well as from information Google finds from other online sources and user-generated content.

There have been quite a few awesome features that Google has added for businesses to use to enhance and optimize their GMB listings over the past few years.  If you haven’t been taking advantage of the newest GMB, like managing multiple locations with one dashboard, you’ll want to hope onto your Google My Business dashboard and begin optimizing it.
