Google Penguin 3.0 Continues To Slowly Roll Out Worldwide

Google penguin 1339159429 On the evening of October 17th, Google made the initial push of a refresh/update of the Penguin algorithm that had been called Penguin 3.o by some.  Later on, it was discovered that it was a worldwide update, and impacted less than one-percent of English queries.  As with any of Google’s updates, Penguin 3.0 would roll out over the next few weeks.

It has been over two weeks since the initial update, and the roll out is well on its way, and still happening, according to John Mueller in a video hangout yesterday morning on Google+.  When asked about Penguin, John Mueller responded by saying “As far as I know, the whole data is still rolling out slowly.”

You can check it out at the 35 second mark in the video.
