A whole new set of manual actions have been published that focuses on Google News and Google Discover policies and guidelines. Originally, manual actions were applied to just Google web search related guidelines, but now, manual actions will be applied to Google News and Google Discover.
What are manual actions?
Manual actions are when human reviews at Google applies a penalty to a page or whole website after something was done that went against Google’s posted webmaster guidelines.

- News and Discover policy violation: Dangerous content
- News and Discover policy violation: Harassing content
- News and Discover policy violation: Hateful content
- News and Discover policy violation: Manipulated media

- Discover policy violation: Misleading content
- News and Discover policy violation: Sexually explicit content
- News and Discover policy violation: Terrorist content
