At SMX Advanced, Matt Cutts, the head of search spam, announced that they are updating how reconsideration rejection requests are handled with more details from Google Search Quality analysts.
So what does this mean? Basically, if a reconsideration request with a rejection notice is reviewed and responded to by a Google search quality representative, they will have an addition box that will will allow them to enter more details.
It is true that, as Matt Cutts explains, that Google has provided more detail responses to webmasters submitting requests? Yup. Google has offered a couple link examples for link issues and general categorization for other issues. But with this latest news, Google can offer more.
What this means for those who are sending in reconsideration requests is that, from Google end, Googlers will be prompted to type out specific advice for the webmaster.
