Are you a film promoter? If you are, you may find this bit of news interesting, as Google has put together some figures together that shows the number of mobile searches on its site for movie showtimes has increased 1 percent so far this year.
Google, with the help of market research firm Ipsos, has gotten their data by using search and movie trailer data from YouTube to see how consumers are using Google to decide which movies they’ll be seeing next.
According to the data, 74 percent of moviegoers are searching online to find showtimes, while over half of searches (56 percent to be specific) related to movie tickets are taking place on a mobile device.
