Google announced that it is acquiring marketing analytics and attribution platform, Adometry.
Paul Muret, VP of engineering for Google Analytics said, “Google Analytics Premium and its hundreds of customers, will now have an additional set of tools to accomplish their business and marketing goals.”
Although those at Adometry will be working independently for the time being, they will eventually be joining the Google Analytics team. The purpose behind the acquisition of Adometry is to bring on board their powerful attribution modeling capabilities into Google Analytics Premium.
Even though Adometry already has a current list of customers under their belt, Adometry CEO Paul Pellman said this, “Longer-term, were excite to collaborate with our new colleagues at Google, including the Google Analytics Premium team, to offer great attribution solutions for both our customers and theirs.”
