Google has begun testing and possibly rolling out a new feature in search that displays a carousel with a list of answers directly within the search results snippets. It will show the main search results snippet, and right below it, a carousel of answers picked from the content on the page the snippet is linked to.
This can be useful with forum-related threads where somebody asks a question and several people answer. Google labels which answer is the “best” and shows that answer first in the search results.

I can see how this could be useful, but at the same time, it could be a problem for those running answer sites. Rather than a searcher clicking from Google’s search results to an answer site webpage, searchers will quickly and easily see a snippet or the full answer in these answer carousels.
