A new feature is being tested by Google for some of its knowledge graph cards, which shows a section for “notable moments” in a carousel format in the knowledge card.
Sergey Alakov shared a screen shot of it on Twitter:
These “notable moments” shows webpages that have a timeline-based information about the individual. As shown in the above image, Justin Trudeau, who is Canada’s Prime Minister, shows an imdb.com card for they year he was born and a site called “thefamouspeople” for the year after his birth. It will continue to scroll with other timeline-based tidbits.
When I tried it out, I was unable to replicate it, but we’ll see how this goes in the future. Will more people be able to get this feature to work?
